Bridget was nominated by both the patient and his wife for going above and beyond in providing his care while a patient here.
The wife stated that from when her husband was brought to the room, Bridget was there to welcome him and ensure him that she would be there for whatever he or his wife needed. The wife stated that this gave her a sense of relief after dealing with her husband being so sick and in pain.
The patient stated that Bridget helped him by making sure that his pain level was kept in control and any medical need was met in a timely manner. He stated that he never had to buzz for Bridget to come to him, she just appeared. By doing this, his pain level was always tolerable, which helped in his healing to go home.
By being there for the patient and his wife, Bridget gave a sense of peace to both of them. They both stated that she was truly wonderful and was their angel during his time with us.
