Bridget Jessop consistently picks up additional shifts to ensure our unit has coverage. While doing so, this leader provides huddles daily to provide important unit updates, encouraging and advising staff on current strategies being employed to increase patient satisfaction. Bridget follows through by checking on patients to ensure their needs are being met. She then returns to the RNs with ways to improve, demonstrates appreciation when tasks are completed, and outcomes are positive. In addition, she is always willing to assist staff and has a positive, approachable personality. This nurse is an excellent leader who leads with confidence and compassion for both patients and coworkers.
