Bridget M Harding, ASN RN
Bridget received nominations from a grateful patient and two co-workers. It’s very interesting that each nomination, written separately from the other, pointed out how this nurse makes a ‘special connection’ with each patient. She is patient and kind to elderly and confused patients. She is ‘warm and welcoming’ to any patient who comes to the floor, she is intuitive to patients’ needs and a great asset to our hospital.
Our patient writes that he was very anxious with his second admission to the unit, that Bridget went ‘the extra mile’ to help relieve his migraine by making a cup of coffee for him and then spent time with him to address his concerns. He was grateful to be in her care. Bridget actively participates in NMH’s Nursing Professional Practice Council and helped to develop the NMH Registered Nurse Clinical Ladder Program. Thank you for your continued hard work and congratulations.
