Bridget helped us through the worst time of our lives. Our 5-month-old baby had an accident and we felt helpless and here was this person who was the only light we could see. We will never forget her service to our daughter and us in that difficult time. We are also grateful to CHOP PICU and trauma and got a pretty good feel for/of the professionalism and caring of the staff here. Bridget was the first nurse but no one ever lived up to her. She was always caring and friendly to us and the baby. She communicated with us and as the go between the doctors and us. With Bridget, you never had the feeling that you were just a number. She always explained why she was doing what and tried to address all the concerns. Even after being done with her shift, she went out of her way to help. We had her two shifts, but that was enough for us to realize how special she was. She is such a special person in this hospital.
