Bridgette Enarson has too many stories of nursing excellence to share. She has been a dedicated nurse in the Digestive Health Institute for many years and has taken on many different assignments and projects as the department has needed. Currently, Bridgette takes on a normal caseload as a nurse in the DHI team but also serves as charge nurse and lead nurse for the fecal material transplants offered by DHI.

Most recently, Bridgette took on part of my assignment while I was out on maternity leave. This gave me real peace of mind as I knew my patients would receive outstanding care and attention while I was out. One such patient has difficult to manage Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) requiring monthly Remicade infusions. This patient was hoping to accept an out-of-state internship. Bridgette worked with the patient and family to find possible infusion site options that would accept infusion orders from a Colorado-licensed provider. Bridgette's creativity and dedication to patient care helped this patient to achieve their personal life goals and seek the career opportunities of their dreams without sacrificing their health.
