November 2024 Honoree
Briley Condon, BSN
From the moment we walked in to get me prepped, she was very welcoming and thoroughly explained everything to me. I was scared to have my procedure done and had been left in the holding room before my other half came back. She brought him to the holding room, which enabled me to relax some. When I got back from surgery, she took really great care of me, even if I was a bit much.

Briley took care of me pre- and post-op for a nose fracture surgery. Briley was really friendly and had conversations like she was a friend or a sister (like saying she picked me out the best gown and socks or taking the time to ask about where I played softball and how I got hurt). She did a great job explaining every step, so I knew what to expect. She even asked if I could get my IV in the OR after I was sleepy because this was what made me the most nervous about the procedure. I am considering being a nurse someday and hope I can be just as amazing to others as Briley was to me!
***
Briley was polite and pleasant. You could tell she was genuinely caring; a huge plus was that she got my IV’s in on the first try.
