As we were transitioning my mom from in-home Hospice Care to the ED, to go on to the Hospice House, we had the pleasure of having Britanie as our nurse. My mom is at the end of her battle with stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, and Britanie overheard my mom request a specific pop and candy bar from the vending machines; my mom has not shown any interest in food for some time, and this was shared.

Unfortunately, the vending machines did not carry either of which my mom had requested, but when Britanie's shift was over, she ran elsewhere and purchased what my mom had requested and returned to give her the Dr. Pepper and Nutty Butter that my mom was craving. Britanie went above and beyond, and that will not be forgotten!
