Britni Swayzee, while working in the DCU at Osborn Medical Center, recognized that her patient was in trouble. She worked relentlessly to get the treatment her patient required, while overcoming many obstacles along the way. The patient's daughter states, "Britni is a phenomenal nurse, she kept calling doctors to come and see my father". She goes on to say that in her opinion if it were not for Britni her father would not be alive today, "She truly advocated for my father". Britni serves as a role model for nursing, as well as an unwavering patient advocate ensuring the best outcome for her patient.
