A patient on 7800 had a daughter who was in labor down on the third floor. Britta Hansen had come in to help cover another nurse's assignment while she was off the floor. After hearing that the patient's daughter was in labor downstairs, she worked hand in hand, collaborating with the nurse manager, charge nurse, and the patient's nurse to get the patient to see her daughter. Britta took the patient down to the third floor and stayed with her, and was afterwards able to help cover that nurse's assignment.

Britta showed grace and compassion that morning, switching up her plans to be a team player so that a patient could have that special time with her daughter.
