I have had the pleasure of working with Brittanie tonight in the Blue Pod. She has grown into a fantastic nurse with compassion and grace for her patients. I have witnessed the following this evening:

1) She brewed coffee this evening for a family member who was tired.

2) She had a patient this evening on an ED stretcher. He was boarding in the ED, awaiting a TCU bed. He was moved to a hospital bed while awaiting a floor bed.

3) The patient presented from a local nursing facility with reports that he has requested to have a shave of his face for the last several days, and the facility had declined. Brittanie took the time to shave the patient's face to help him feel better. She has remained compassionate and graceful even with patients who have been difficult and demanding. She has exemplified all aspects of the Freeman 5-star promise. Brittanie rocks.
