Brittany Abernathy, RN

My mom was in the Stanly ER two Fridays in a row, with complications following an ablation done in Cabarrus Hospital. She had Brittany for both visits. She is by far the best nurse I have ever seen on all of my visits to any hospital! She is knowledgeable, compassionate, and has the most positive attitude I have seen in a hospital setting. Two of the other nurses had to leave unexpectedly during the shift, leaving her spread very thin across multiple patients. She didn't let that stop her from providing exemplary care to my mom, and her attitude remained positive no matter how busy she was. Her rapport with my mom was amazing, which made a very scary situation seem less daunting. Put us at ease. She is a tremendous asset to the Emergency Department at Stanly. I will be eternally grateful for the care she gave my mom.
