Brittany has really brightened the spirits of some of our patients. When a patient is having a bad day she can always make them smile. She really goes out of her way to make every patient feel welcome. Brittany may be a float, but she has found a home and a family at our office. We see Suboxone patients every day.
We had a new Suboxone patient that Brittany roomed for me, the patient was crying because she was about to lose her kids, and her family had turned their backs on her. Brittany told the patient that we, in the office, were all there for her no matter what, and that she wanted to see her "get better" (using the words the patient had used), and she wanted to see her get her children back. When the patient arrived at our office she was scared and worried that she wasn't good enough or that she could succeed in the program. Brittany gave hope and confidence to the patient when she needed it the most.
Our office, as a new acquisition in late January, was unsure of how everything worked exactly. Since Brittany has been here, she has helped us understand by teaching us and the patients the things that we/they could do to help keep everyone safe. She is really an advocate for patient safety. Brittany has always treated every patient the same. Every patient that has gone through Brittany's care had been treated wonderfully.
