Brittany Bowen, RN

Brittany has been my “Florence Nightingale” during my stay at Presbyterian. She has my best interests at heart and has made me feel safe and cared for. One instance that stands out was this morning after the hospitalist visited me. I’m here due to complications from knee replacement surgery. I got a pretty severe blood clot that the doctor was able to remove. However, my lower right leg, close to my ankle, was still very sore. He manipulated that area and around that area pretty aggressively, and after he left, I broke down and turned into a crying mess! Brittany was immediately there, reassuring me and saying she understood. She helped me so much.
