Brittany Carava, MSN, RN

I was in the hospital following spinal fusion surgery. Shortly after I arrived I was introduced to the night shift nurse, Brittany Carava. When I was admitted I was in a lot of pain, and I couldn't take advantage of the pain medication because my blood pressure was too low. Though I was experiencing the worst pain in my life (I am 50 years old), Brittany was so caring and positive, she really made a difference in my stay at the hospital. I would describe her as personable and a bundle of positive energy.

On the second night of my stay when she arrived, I was so happy to see her again. I realized how a good nurse can really make a difference. Her personalization and cheery disposition made all the difference to me. I believe Brittany recently passed her RN exams. I hope the nursing and medical professionals recognize her talent and make every effort to retain her in the nursing profession.
