Brittany responded to a Code 6 (combative patient) in the main admitting. The patient was an elderly confused patient sent to be admitted by her PCP. Brittany not only spent the necessary time it took to cam and admit the patient (3 hrs), she also transported the patient to the unit she was being admitted to and put her in the bed. The following morning, she went to check on the patient who was being sent down for a CT. She was very nervous and scared. Brittany accompanied the patient, stayed with her during the 3 attempts until she was calm enough to go through with it. She held the patient's hand throughout the procedure. This is well above and beyond and deserves recognition.
