Yes! I am nominating my nurse. I have come to know her when she was assigned to give me my monthly IVIG infusions for my autoimmune disease, CIDP.  

Her bubbly personality is as genuine as her concern for me. With my first set of IVIG, I became very sick. I called her late at night after the third infusion. She immediately called CSI Pharmacy. Within minutes, I was speaking with the pharmacist, who encouraged me that I was experiencing side effects only. The nurse immediately jumped in as my advocate to reassure me and the pharmacist to encourage me not to throw in the towel yet! We look forward to seeing my nurse every day, each month she is here.  

My husband has gotten us all lunch, and we get to spend quality time with her. I myself was a pediatric nurse for over 25 years. With so much in common, we share our stories both with laughter and sadness. We talk about jobs and only things a “real nurse” understands.  

She has made such an impression on my 2 grandsons, so now when I pick them up from school, they come into the house wanting to know if she is here. They love her! She is a true DAISY Nurse! 

We love her, and I am sure all her patients do, plus two little 13 and 10-year-old boys do too!
