Brittany Dunn Rose, RN
Brittany is an amazing nurse! She is one of those nurses who is always willing to jump in and help. She goes above and beyond for her patients. A patient arrived to our unit for an extremely elevated heart rate and pain. The patient was very nervous and anxious. Brittany came straight to the room to help. She immediately started talking with the patient and did a great job at easing her fears. Brittany's background as an ER nurse allowed her to help assess the situation, educated the patient on medicines and what was going on. Before long the patient was smiling and talking about her family with Brittany. Brittany stayed well past the end of her shift to remain with the patient until she was transferred to AICU. Brittany is a super caring nurse, and always displays empathy for her patients. Over the last several months Brittany has really shined as an ASMT nurse, especially with Covid. She is always willing to care for difficult or sick patients. Brittany is a huge asset to our unit and we are lucky to have her at Woman's Hospital.
