My son was diagnosed with APML cancer which we knew nothing about, and heard of for the first time. The word "cancer" was devastating and made us uneasy, as I always believe that no one survives cancer. The doctors came to reassure us of the huge chances of survival and explained to us at different point in time as a routine. Brittany comforted us through every steps as long as she was with us. She was so caring, and the comfort of my son was her major concern. She would take time to explain to me and my son before administering any medication to him. Whenever we touch the call bell, she would be with us in seconds.

At a point we were confused, afraid and almost had a change of mind about the chemotherapy despite the explanation from the different doctors, but Brittany encouraged us; we asked her questions we couldn't ask the doctors. She patiently explained in detail and did her best to make my son comfortable. Brittany is outstanding; I was not afraid whenever she is on duty and I am out of the building, even my son attests that she was a great help.
