There was a bad patient fall on this department tonight. Code Blue was called and cancelled. I was on the unit rounding. Brittany must have responded to the code blue quickly. Initiated cervical spine precautions, requested collar from the ED, stat doctor with recommendation of CT. The patient was okay and CT negative. Brittany really was a leader through the whole thing. This is the second time in a couple of weeks that I have witnessed her teamwork, collaboration, purposeful execution, and leadership.
