Brittany J Weiland, RN

I would like to recognize Brittany Weiland for her exceptional care as a SANE nurse. I witnessed her demonstrate profound respect and compassion while caring for a patient who had experienced an assault. I was deeply moved by the compassion she exhibited. Brittany eased the patient’s pain and discomfort, making the patient feel safe in an incredibly vulnerable moment. Her gentle demeanor provided a sense of comfort that was crucial for this patient.

The extensive training required for a SANE nurse is evident, but what stood out was Brittany’s genuine compassion for this patient. The time she gave and the patience she showed while allowing the patient to prepare for each step of the assessment/exam process show that Brittany is a truly kind human. She truly cares and is committed to making a difference in the lives of her patients, especially during their most challenging moments. Her ability to combine respect and integrity with compassion has left a lasting impression on me and undoubtedly made a significant impact on this patient.
