Brittany Lyle really went so far above and beyond good nursing. She took the time to really talk to my daughter and me, and listen. She was compassionate, but not only in a passive way. When I talked about how my daughter was exhausted from being woken up nearly every hour through the night to get oral and IV medicines, and blood pressure checks, Brittany not only listened but acted. She called the pharmacy to see which medicines could be delivered/taken on more of a schedule. She changed up the whole medicine plan, leaving what she couldn’t change, but altering what she could. Also, she took my daughter’s vital signs herself, so that happened at the same times that she had to be woken to be given medicine anyway. I am so grateful for Brittany’s positive attitude and her willingness to listen to her patients and their family. My daughter got the best sleep she’s had since she got here.
