Brittany M Arnold

Brittany had a 51-year-old patient on 6 South. She went above and beyond for the patient and showed true compassion. The patient was just informed that she had Stage IV ovarian cancer and was notably upset and withdrawn. Brittany decided to pamper the withdrawn patient and gave her "a day at the spa." She took a horrible diagnosis and a depressed patient and managed to make her day by showering and fixing her hair, makeup, and nails. The patient was so grateful and told me that the world would be a better place if more nurses cared this much.
