Brittany was charge one day when a patient of ours decided that he and his girlfriend wanted to get married. This patient was medically unstable and not expected to make it much longer. But, he insisted that he wanted to marry his girlfriend of a very long time. He was in deep remorse for putting it off for as long as he had and extremely sad that he hadn't done this sooner in their lives. Brittany went out of her way to contact the courthouse, order flowers, get decorations together all so that this patient's dying wish could come true. On the day of the wedding, everything came together seamlessly. Our entire team banded together and gave this couple a wedding ceremony they truly wouldn't forget. The patient ended up passing away a few hours after the nuptials, but the memory for his wife will be with her forever.
