Brittany McDonald, BSN, RN

The staff nurse we want to nominate for the DAISY Award is Brittany McDonald, RN. She is an excellent RN and engages all of her patients with warmth, individualized, and attentive care. She meets their needs without hesitation, and if she cannot, she will have the person who can engage them. She is on the floor and tirelessly engages and interacts with them in a meaningful way. She builds rapport with all patients, even those who are challenging and need extra support and care. She always has a smile on her face. She works with a team spirit and motivates the staff, as a team, to accomplish good patient care outcomes.
