I am nominating Brittany because from the moment she saw me and my family enter Labor and Delivery, she was very pleasant.  She smiled warmly and introduced herself when I was placed into a room. She had walked in, surprised to be my nurse since we had spoken earlier, with no understanding that she would be our nurse. 

She was very informative about everything she was doing from the moment she entered the room until her departure.  Anytime I thought of a question, she telepathically knew because she proceeded to inform me of my question.  My daughter, who was with me, is interested in becoming a Labor and Delivery RN when she graduates.  So she even spoke with my daughter about the info she needed to know, which intrigued my daughter even more, and now she is even more persistent. 

Brittany did an amazing job in my C-section operation.  She held my hand, forehead to forehead with me, calming me down and telling me step-by-step what was happening to me.  She was very calming.  I really needed that in that moment, and she even checked on me and my baby after I was moved from Labor and Delivery.  She is someone who truly deserves to be nominated.
