Brittany Moore, LPN

I would like to nominate Brittany Moore, LPN, as a deserving recipient of the DAISY Award. Brittany is an Extraordinary Nurse. She exemplifies the spirit of exceptionalism and compassion as a nurse. Her dedication and empathy go further than medical care and emotional needs for our patients. Brittany is always willing to lend a helping hand. New nurses sometimes tend to be scared to stick (draw blood) just out of common fear, but Brittany always gives the extra hand that is needed. Brittany is always willing to teach and demonstrate to new nurses how to get an accurate stick. Brittany is always kind and smiling. She wholeheartedly devotes herself to ensuring that each patient and their family feels genuinely listened to, understood, and supported through any moment that they are here. She is the person who is the same no matter what or when. She shows so much compassion to the residents and families. Brittany is one of the most honest and humble people you could ever meet, she is no stranger to anyone, she smiles and talks with everyone as if she has known them forever. She shows this special care not only to patients and their families but also to her colleagues. Brittany’s compassionate, caring approach to care leaves a permanent mark on the lives of all fortunate enough to cross paths with her. Not only do I feel this way about Brittany, but I’m sure every department here at Senior Care feels this way about Brittany. She is our ray of sunshine and is well deserving of this DAISY Award.
