I recently went to 6 JCW to pick up and transport a patient and after I got her all ready to take her for her CT, her nurse, Brittany, asked if she could come with me. I panicked thinking something was wrong with the patient, but no, Brittany knew the patient had a bad night and wanted to be there for her to make her feel better.
To me, and I have also heard from others, she is described as a true nurse, one that is there for the patients and not just an 8-hour shift or 12-hour shift. Brittany impressed me when she wanted to take time out to be with her patient when she didn't have to.
