Brittany received a total of 3 nominations for going above and beyond to care for patients. One nomination spoke of Brittany helping a patient to get a new cell phone after losing his. The patient was going to a rehab facility and Brittany wanted to make sure the patient had a way to keep in touch with his family while there.
Other nominations told the story of Brittany taking time to arrange for a patient with a new cancer diagnosis to have the equipment he needed to feel safe at home. She reached out to get a wheelchair donated to the patient and delivered to his residence. Brittany also purchased a shower chair for the patient. She knew these things mattered to her patient and did what was necessary to make sure his needs were met.
