Brittany Ottaway, RN

There need to be more compassionate nurses like Brittany. You can tell she loves her job by the one on one care she gave us while my son was in the hospital. She has made a lasting impression on us and I have worked in the medical field for over 30 years. She took his problems for real and close to her heart and made sure all our answers or concerns were met. Whether it was medication changes or making my son feel comfortable in bed or pinging the Drs for requests we had. She always made sure our needs were met in a timely fashion. My son wanted to go outside and get fresh air and she took the time to go with him to talk one on one with him. He needed an outsider to talk to him instead of mom all the time. I know she had other patients but she really made us feel like we were the only ones she had. We never had to wait long before she was in our room.
