Brittany was absolutely incredible. She was my night nurse both nights during my stay at the Ochsner Baptist Mother/Baby Unit. She demonstrated a level of kindness that I have never experienced. Not only for myself but for our sweet new baby girl, too. Her bedside manner was perfect. She was clearly extremely experienced and knowledgeable, and I felt a high level of trust in her caring for both of us. This whole experience can be so scary, and I felt very relaxed having her to turn to with any new questions or concerns that popped up throughout our stay. She was always instantly there to answer all my questions, bring me our medications, explain step-by-step instructions, offer helpful tips, and, most importantly, show us compassion. We could really see how much she loves her job and all her patients. In the world we live in today, it is so rare to find employees with this level of passion for their job. It was honestly refreshing and intoxicating. We will be forever grateful for having Brittany be a part of our delivery experience. Thank you, Brittany, for being you! I hope you continue to spread your Mother/Baby love to others for many years to come!
