Brittany made the most difficult time of our lives easier.
My husband came into the ICU on a ventilator. When we decided it was time for comfort care, Brittany was our night nurse. Brittany made the most difficult time of our lives easier. She made us coffee and snacks and made sure we had everything we needed at all times. She kept us informed of what was going on, stats, and meds. She is by far the best nurse we have ever had. She fought for my husband's care and went above and beyond.

Helping with my 55-year-old father’s death in the MICU, she was the RN who was here during the nights and helped the most in this time of need.  My dad, a man of many problems, unfortunately, took his last breath while in her care after he was put on hospice. She helped not only us as a family but my dad as well. She shared great care, support, knowledge, and love with those of us in need.

While my father-in-law was critical in the MICU, she gave us her full, undivided attention. Brittany walked us through every step of care she was providing and checked in on all of the family members multiple times during her shift. Brittany turned off the monitors so that we could put all of our focus on my father-in-law and answer any questions we had. She also gave us a coffee cart that had cookies and other snacks. Brittany made sure that our entire family knew how he was doing, and because some of us went home at night, she would tell my mother-in-law if any of his stats were dropping so that we could be here for his final moments. Brittany made the passing of my father-in-law smoother and as peaceful as we could have asked for.

She was so very kind and caring during our stay. She fought for my dad’s care and became very trusted by all of us. She was like a part of the family as my dad was on his end-of-life journey. Brittany, you are the best nurse I have ever met. There were some good ones, but you are the star at the top of the castle. You very well saved my dad’s life when you fought to keep him in his room. We, as a family, all love you.
