I came into the hospital very upset because of bleeding from my rectum mostly scared that the cancer I suffered thru had come back after 16 years. Brittany met me at my worst but took the time to console me and in the process gave me back my faith in mankind. She went the extra mile which included letting me use her cellphone to call home since I was here in the hospital all alone.

This in my opinion broke the ice - Brittany went far beyond the call of her job to help calm me down. She went the extra mile by caring for everyone's wants when the fear has taken over and most people show that they really don't care about your problems.

Thank you Brittany for giving me back my faith in mankind. I know this may sound minor but believe me I think it saved my sanity. This small act made all the difference in showing how much the act of caring means about nursing and excellent care. Brittany is a true DAISY Nurse.
