I would like to thank my nurse and share my story of why this nurse is so special:

From the moment Brittany stepped into my room, I immediately felt safe. Being sick and alone in a hospital and knowing that your nurse is there to give you the absolute best care is so reassuring! When I was first admitted, they found 2 abscesses on my kidney, but with each passing day, things changed. I had terrible pain on the right side of my chest. One of the doctors told me it was muscular from pulling myself up on the bed. Brittany disagreed, and when she found me gasping for breath, she sprang into action. That day I had chest X rays, CT scans, back ultrasounds blood tests etc.

They found a blood clot in my lung. Thank God for Brittany!

After that, I was moved to a different floor; Brittany was no longer my nurse, but she came and found me to check I was doing ok …. not once, but twice! She cared for me, advocated for me, and made me laugh when I was down. She is an exceptional human being, and I would love to see her rewarded for her dedication to her patients. She consistently goes above and beyond and deserves to be recognized!
