On Friday at 5:00 a.m. I took my wife to the Emergency Room, I thought she was having a heart attack. From the time we got there, all the people were great to us. When she was moved to the ICU, we met God's Angel, Brittany Woods, an ICU RN.
Three months ago, we were homeless, living in our car. My wife got sick because she had no meds. We could not afford meds. I am a cancer patient times three, CH, lung cancer & bladder cancer. Brittany understood our problems; she sat down with my wife, held her hand and helped her feel better. The whole time my wife was in ICU when needing assistance, never was she told "just one minute" when Brittany was on duty. I fell asleep in a chair and later when I woke up I found $20.00 in my jacket. I was broke and needing gas in my car. I later found out it was Brittany.
After leaving ICU to a regular floor, visits by Brittany became a part of our stay. She recognized we were poor and needed assurance things will be ok. In ending I would like to say "When God wanted" someone in PMC to care for his people he sent Brittany there as his representative to help all people.
