Brittany was very understanding of my situation with my husband. He was put into the ICU because he was having withdrawal from alcohol along with pancreatitis. I had no idea my husband was a secret alcoholic and I cried on Brittany. I live in Knoxville TN and he lives here. She called and gave me updates after I left and was very professional and thorough. I was so unsure as to what was going to happen and she was very reassuring. I came back on a Wednesday and Brittany came back on Saturday. She was determined to get my husband off the Precedex drip and got his blood pressure medication from home added. She never let him sit in a dirty diaper and when he was rude she laughed and blew it off.

Her bedside manner was pleasant and fun!! She kept him laughing and on his toes and didn’t let him get away with anything! I cannot thank her enough for the care she gave him even when he was difficult. She is a rock star and I cannot thank her enough! Of course, my husband won’t remember his time with her but I will be forever grateful!

I've been a nurse for over a decade, and in that time I've never come across a Nurse that goes above and beyond the way Brittany does. On numerous occasions, I have watched her give detailed care to her patients on the ventilator washing, combing, and braiding their hair, so when they wake up their hair is clean and tidy. She is an amazing coworker and patient advocate.
