Brittney was my nurse in the ICU when my daughter was born. She was with my husband and me all night doing everything she could to make us comfortable. I was terrified to deliver in the ICU. I was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome and was induced to save my life. My husband and I knew our daughter would not live but Brittney helped ease our pain with the kindness and compassion she showed us. My baby came at the end of Brittney's shift and she was there to hold my hand and help me through delivery. My daughter was born alive. Her life was not long but Brittney will forever be a part of the miracle that is my daughter. Brittney is a wonderful nurse and an amazing human being. I'm nominating her because I want to thank her for the exceptional care she gave me during the most difficult hours of my life.
