Brittany has worked with us for most of our stay at the NICU. The first day she was there, we quickly realized that she was attentive to detail and also helped us understand what was going on, explaining things in terms we could understand. We added her to our primary list so that she could return and work with our son as he transitioned out of the NICU. She never made any mistakes. She always went the extra mile to make sure that he was comfortable. Near the end of his stay, doctors and nurses were not taking ownership over our son's care, and concerns kept getting passed between shifts, and nobody was taking care of them. Britney, on the other hand, went out of her way to ensure that the concerns were being addressed, that his history was being acknowledged, and that he had a plan for leaving the hospital. She recognized the signs that he was ready to leave before the doctors did, and ultimately, he was able to leave at the right time, thanks to her diligent efforts and quick thinking. Because of Brittany's actions, our son was able to leave on time, perhaps a little sooner. She tailored the parents' education specifically for us, so that we could provide our son with the best care possible. That was incredibly helpful because he was in the NICU for three months and a few weeks.
