A Fellow Team Member wrote: A patient was received in the ER that was involved in a house fire. The patient's house was a total loss. Last year Brittney too lost her house to a fire. She refused to let the patient be discharged until she was able to resolve issues of housing and able to find the patient temporary money for housing and food. She went to great lengths to secure information and monetary assistance for the patient that was way above the normal daily responsibilities for patient/registered nurse relations.
