She was attentive, caring, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything that was going on. My son was hospitalized with numbness and pain in his arms and legs, so it was obviously a scary time for all of us. She did everything she could to make my son comfortable. She suggested ways to minimize the tingling in his feet, and she gave us lots of information we hadn't been given previously. She calmed me by telling me that there are lots of different reasons for numbness, and it is not necessarily a horrible disease. She was so compassionate. She advocated for us and spent the extra time to follow-up on the MRI schedule and the doctor's interpretations of the results. She wasn't just our nurse/caregiver, she was our advocate!
