Brix Carstens, RN

Brix is a well-loved, sincere nurse who does a wonderful job explaining procedures and instructions to patients and families. She makes patients feel comfortable and relaxed, always communicating and looking out for others. A patient in comfort care was fortunate to have Brix as a caregiver and his family is grateful for memories they have of his last birthday.

Not only did she help decorate his room with a banner and flowers, she and a fellow nurse gathered staff to bring balloons, a card and a giant cookie in to sing happy birthday. They even brought in a popsicle for the patient who couldn’t eat the cookie. “Not only is Brix caring, compassionate and a great nurse, she is awesome and an amazing person.” The family treasures the memories of that celebration. “Thank you Brix, for being you!”
