Brock noticed during report that it was the birthday of one of his patients. Brock went out of his way to notify Food and Nutritional Services of the birthday and a cake was sent up during lunchtime. He gathered his colleagues from 5 East and had the care team sing Happy Birthday as they walked in carrying the cake. Brock presented a balloon animal he created out of a glove. This thoughtfulness was very much appreciated by the family and patient. Spending a small amount of time and effort yielded a huge dividend in the caring department with this patient. This small simple act shows how Brock truly embodies our culture at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center of caring.

Brock has the wonderful ability to lift one's spirits. Even though I have only known him for two days he is wonderful, caring and thoughtful. In addition, my children found him to be a gracious nurse who took great care of their mom.
