Brooke was absolutely amazing and kind to us the whole stay that we had in her department/unit. 

It was a very tough time for us while we were in the hospital, a lot of unknowns, but while we thought it was just us going through it ourselves, we quickly realized we weren't doing this on our own. Brooke Godlove was very attentive to our needs; she was super sweet, and she had patience with all the questions we had during our stay. Brooke loved the conversations we had with her and even made us laugh through some frustrating situations we had.

Brooke made us feel like family during our stay; she made us feel so loved and connected with us as much as she was able with her beautiful, infectious smile. She shared the same feelings towards our situation as we did and showed so many fascinating things about her position as a nurse that I know are the reasons for her choosing nursing as her career. Having a family in the medical field, I know it's a tough job and requires a lot of sacrifice with the hours, the work, and the mental capacity you have to have. Having Brooke there made her job look effortless and fun. I feel she very much lived up to her last name, Godlove, because that is the kind of love she showed us right up until she helped us get ready for our departure.

Brooke was so happy for us to be able to go home after a long weekend in the hospital. She even gave us hugs as we left and told us how much she enjoyed helping us. I feel Brooke deserves more than this award for her outstanding work and personality, and I know this is only the beginning of her career. We would love to see her get there and hope that others are able to see her beautiful, caring heart like we did!
