Brooke is a shining star to her patients, families, and fellow staff and students. As a clinical instructor at Palm Beach Atlantic University School of Nursing, I seek out nurses who will be good role models, kind, considerate and patient with nursing students. Each student that is placed with Brooke, always reports a great experience. Brooke takes the time to educate the students and make them understand the roles and responsibilities of a NICU Nurse. I cannot tell you the number of students who have expressed a new desire for neonatal nursing after spending time with her. Brooke makes the students feel like a valued part of the nursing team at St. Mary's Medical Center.
