I would like to nominate Brooke Fisher for a DAISY Award. She recently cared for a patient who made the decision to go on comfort care. He had no family in town and would die alone. Brooke made the decision to stay by the side of the patient for three hours after he was extubated until he passed so that he wouldn't be alone. I feel that this is an example of our ICARE Values and is an example of our Mission as well. I applaud her for ABOVE ALL ELSE being committed to the care and improvement of this patient's life.
