Brooke was caring for a patient who had cardiac surgery and was required to be in the hospital through the holiday season.
After finding out the patient's favorite holiday is Christmas, Brooke took it upon herself to decorate the patient's room for Christmas. The room was decorated in time for the patient to become fully awake after her procedure. Brooke was able to create a great patient experience and allow the patient to have the joy of the season despite being in the hospital.
