My son was in a serious car accident, where the vehicle rolled over multiple times, and he was ejected. Thankfully, somehow, he survived but suffered severe traumatic injuries. Brooke was the highlight of our stay at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was the kindest, most empathetic, and most knowledgeable nurse we have ever met. When your child almost dies, having such a compassionate person care for his needs, while also being sensitive to what the family endured, went above and beyond our expectations. Brooke's energetic demeanor and positive attitude made my son smile, even in extreme pain. My son told every doctor that Brooke was the “best nurse in the world!” My son will now go on to live a long happy life. Thank you, Brooke. You were a tremendous part of my son’s recovery, and we will never forget what you did for us!
