Nurse Brooke is so special because she was always the brightness to my day. My first day/night at SVHC I was having a hard time being away from my parents. She saw me crying and talking to my mom on the phone and she asked me if I needed anything, like tissues and water, and she was always super happy and fun. That night I slept in the quiet room and Brooke was the one who offered that place for me to sleep. She set up my bed and gave me an extra blanket. She was always a super kind, sweet, and energized person every time she was at work. She seems super happy about her job and enjoys taking care of those who need it. From the first sentence she said to me, I could already tell that she was super kind and happy about her job. Thursday night, Brooke wrote a pretty long and sweet note with my name on it saying that I was a really kind, smart, bright, and cool person. Her leaving the note made my experience at SVHC 10 times better. Right off the bat I already knew that I was going to love her and she is just an amazing person.
