Brooke was caring for a mother who delivered earlier in the day. Her baby was sent to St. Mary's due to some complications. The mother had a c-section so it would be a few days before she could see her baby. Brooke connected with the mother when she became upset that her baby was not with her. Brooke was determined to find a way for the mother to see her baby. She called St. Mary's and got a video set up for the mother to watch her baby until she could be with her baby in person. Brooke's determination and compassion with this situation exemplified what a great nurse should be.
