She filled all the emotionally supportive roles of a sister, a mother, and a friend- really the ultimate woman and doing all of her nursing duties as well.
I was nervous as a first-time mom and had a lot of things not going as planned for my labor and delivery. I was very nervous and scared. This wonderful nurse came in and seemed to know everything to say and do just right. Brooke was so kind and light-hearted and didn't even make me feel uncomfortable. I've never needed help getting out of a bathtub before this, but there she was a helping hand in all of the vulnerable moments. She filled all the emotionally supportive roles of a sister, a mother, and a friend- really the ultimate woman and doing all of her nursing duties as well. She went above and beyond to make me comfortable and confident in what was going on. Truly the best.

Brooke was our nurse on two separate hospitalizations for our son. First of all, she came in extra the night I delivered our baby boy. Everyone was exceptional but especially remember her looking me in the eyes and saying I could do it. Just over a week later, our son was hospitalized for a virus. Brooke was our nurse that admitted him. She gave wonderful care and was so supportive to my baby and this worried mom. I had complete trust in Brooke as our son was undergoing numerous tests, including a spinal tap. I can speak highly of so many caregivers during both of these hospital stays, but Brooke sticks out in my mind. Someone who can ease a nervous mom's mind when they are poking around on your 8-day-old speaks volumes. Thank you Brooke for everything you did for our son and me.
