On October 17th my Nana came into the hospital via ambulance. Once she was finally admitted to the hospital she was then transferred to MICU, where our family met Brooke. From the first time we met her Brooke went above and beyond to take exceptional care of my Nana.
The extent of my Nana's condition did not look as if she would make a recovery. Brooke took excellent care of my Nana. She made sure we knew what was going on, and if anyone in the family had any questions she was sure to answer them. She made sure to check on my grandfather, and asked him if he was eating. Brooke has touched our lives forever.
When Brooke arrived on 10/24 my Nana's condition took a turn for the worse. She was with our family during the entire day of this process. She was checking in on everyone making sure everyone was eating, and drinking. Prior to Brooke leaving for her shift that day, she came in and hugged the entire family. She helped us grieve. She has touched our family more then she will ever know.
Brooke, my grandfather was touched by your generous ways. Our family truly cannot thank you enough. You are absolutely where you belong! Thank you for everything you did while taking excellent care of my Nana! Our family is truly blessed to have met you!
